Our astronomy tour includes: - Transfer from your accommodation in San Pedro de Atacama to our observation site. (Pick-up is not available for accomodations outside the area of San Pedro: Quitor, Séquitor, Yaye, Checar, Solor, Larache). - Observation of the sky with the naked eye with laser pointer. - Observation through automatic telescopes - Astrophotographic portraits: 1 photograph per person + 1 photograph per couple of group. - Catering of local products, hot drinks and chilean wine. - Transfer from the observation site to your accommodation. Tour in English 16 spots per night. Duration of the activities at the observation site: 2 hours approx. Description: Our tour begins at the door of your accommodation. We will pick you up between 20.50 and 21.20. From there, we will make a 15-minute drive to our observation site in the Ayllu de Coyo, a community located 6 kilometers south of San Pedro de Atacama. Once at the observation site, our guides will welcome you, and we will start our night by looking at the sky with the naked eye. In this first observation, we will show you the constellations and the main elements of meaning that we can see in the sky with the naked eye in each season. In addition to enjoying the beauty of the sky and sharing with you different visions of the sky that we have created over time, the purpose of this part of the night is to help you get to know the sky. After this first approach to the sky, we will use electronic telescopes to look at the sky from a different perspective. We will see objects such as planets, star clusters, nebulae and interesting stars, depending on the season. After the observations, you will have time to enjoy the sky the way you want, accompanied by hot drinks, wine and snacks with local products. We will have a space for people who want to get a picture with the sky in the background and another space for people who want to take pictures with their own equipment. You can also simply stargaze comfortably sitting with a glass of wine or hot chocolate in your hands. You will have free time to enjoy the sky. After all this, it will be time to say goodbye and our transfer will take you back to your accommodation in San Pedro de Atacama. Come look at the sky with us, we will be happy to see you here.
